Born in Doncaster, Reynolds studied a BSc in Microbiology at Newcastle University. Her first business launch in 2007 with c-founder Ken Yamada, Tsuru, a small katsu and sushi operation, which eventually closed. In 2012 they launched Tonkotsu in London. The group has grown steadily since, with 15 sites now spread across London, as well as outposts in Brighton and Birmingham with one to follow soon in Bristol.
